Brown County, Here we come--4/10

We are driving along a narrow ridge. Makes you wonder how the ridge survived, why it didn’t get all washed away. All of the campgrounds have ‘ridge’ in their name, so it’s clear that the whole park is on a ridge. I remember the last time we were here we were in a tent. It was summer. We were down by the swimming pool and a man on a bicycle came in, relieved that he was finally at the park. What he didn’t know is that he had about another 3 miles to the campground, and between him and the campground was a 1-mile hill. I never did find out how he felt about it, but I clearly remember feeling sorry for him. We cook our first dinner in the RV, enjoying a drink with dinner, take a shower at the shower house, and settle in for the night. It is raining as we sit reading. We are warm and secure and dry. What more could you ask?
